{"id":423,"date":"2011-08-20T00:43:00","date_gmt":"2011-08-20T00:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp\/?p=423"},"modified":"2011-08-20T00:43:00","modified_gmt":"2011-08-20T00:43:00","slug":"sitting-in-between-taraweeh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/home\/sitting-in-between-taraweeh\/","title":{"rendered":"Sitting in-between Taraweeh"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><tt><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Is it sunnah, mustahab or anything else to sit after every four rakats in salatul taraweeh?<\/span><\/tt><\/li>\n<li><tt><span style=\"font-size: small;\">During that sitting, what dua do I read?<\/span><\/tt><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Answer<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><tt>It is stated in the books of jurisprudence (<em>Alamgeer (Fatawa Hindiyah Vol 1 P 115) &amp; Raddul Mukhtaar Vol 1 P522)<\/em> that the sitting after every four rakats in Taraweeh is <strong>Mustahab<\/strong>. <\/tt><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><tt>During that sitting, it is Mustahab to recite tasbeeh, tahleel (Laa ilaha illallah), dua or durood. <\/tt><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><tt>Imam Qahastani states in <em>Minhajul Ibaad<\/em> that the following may be recited thrice:<\/tt><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><tt>\u201cSubhana zil mulki wal malakuti subhana zil izzati wal azmati wal qudrati wal kibriya ee wal jabarooth. Subhanal malikil hayyil lazi la yanamu wa la yamuto subbu\u00a0 hun quddusun rabbul malaikati war rooh. La ilaha illal lahu. Nas tagh firullah.
