The person who lost it isn&#8217;t making an announcement; it\u2019s the Imam or committee. Isn&#8217;t this like the normal announcements that we make for events on after salat or on Fridays? Isn&#8217;t the voice raised for that?<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful<\/strong><\/p>\n<h1>Answer<\/h1>\n<p>One is allowed to make announcements in the Masjid with a mic or without a mic as long as the announcement is Islamically related. Therefore, making announcements for various events on the microphone would be allowed as it is a form of dawah. Making announcements for lost items would be permissible if the item was lost in the actual Jamaat Khana itself. If it was lost outside the Jamaat Khana, an announcement cannot be made inside. The hadith applies to this situation.
