What was the age of the raavi of the hadees regarding tahweel e qibla? Somebody said that the raavi when performed hajj with the Prophet S.A.W. was of only 13 or 14 year of age. If it is so and if we back track, it seems that at the time of tahweel e qibla the raavi was either not born or was of few months, please clearify. JAZAKALLAH U KHAIRAN<\/p>\n

Mursal literally means hurried and in Hadith terminology it relates to that which does not go beyond the Tabieen\u2019s (successors) i.e. the Sahabas name does not appear in the chain of narrators. Sometimes a Sahabi may directly narrate a hadith from the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam by omitting the Sahabi\u2019s name whom he heard the hadith from. Mursal ahadith are acceptable in the Hanafi Fiqh. (Nurul Anwar p.184)<\/p>\n

With regards to your question, it is possible that the Sahabi mentioned in the chain of narrators was not there when \u201cTahweel Qiblah\u201d happened but heard it from another Sahabi who was there and narrated that hadith by omitting that Sahabi\u2019s name out.<\/p>\n
