\n\tLooking at other men as my husband is not good looking<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnswer:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\"Bismillah\"<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\t \n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Prophet of Allah \"\u1e63allall\u0101hu has said, “A lady is married for one of four reasons, wealth, rank, beauty or piety. Choose the possessor of piety and achieve success.” (<\/em>Sahih Bukhari p.762 v.2) <\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tRegarding this hadeeth, Hafiz Ibn Hajar \"ra\u1e25imahull\u0101h has said in Fathul Bari: "And it is taken from this that one with a noble lineage, it is better for him to marry one with a noble lineage, unless the lineage contradicts with a religious woman, or one with noble lineage contradicts a non-religious woman, then the religious woman is chosen. And it is likewise in the other three traits." (p.41 v.9)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFrom the aforementioned hadith the conclusion we can come to is that one should strive to be married to someone knowledgeable and religious. The reason why our spouses should be knowledgeable of the deen is so that they will be able to lead the married life according to the commands of Allah \"sub\u1e25\u0101nahu.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tGood looks and beauty is temporary whilst manners and piety is everlasting. You should thank Allah \"sub\u1e25\u0101nahu that he has blessed you with someone who is kind and willing to abide by the Shariah.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tPray to Allah \"sub\u1e25\u0101nahu regularly, in particular increase your duas after the five daily prayers, asking Allah \"sub\u1e25\u0101nahu to save you from the sin of looking at other men.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
