\n\tI was awake one day in the bath I thought about sexual stuff now when I got out I suddenly felt an urge to go to the toilet before I could go to the toilet something with force was felt from my private part like as if urine was coming out this happens sometimes to me when i have an urge to urinate<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tI look down to make sure no urine came out and I saw some sticky fluid I was thinking to myself It is not mani as it was not thick also I very rarely discharge mani whilst awake also I did not masturbate when thinking of sexual things so what I did was I washed my hands and washed the private parts and prayed did I do something wrong is this considered mani or mazi what came out? as I know mazi is sticky as that's what it looks like to me<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tMani (sperm) is a white thick fluid, which is discharged at the time of ejaculation. This necessitates a fardh ghusul on its emission. Madhi is a thin clear liquid, which is discharged at the time of arousal without ejaculation. This necessitates wudhu on its emission<\/strong>. Wadhi is a white thick fluid, which has no smell and is discharged either before or after urinating. This necessitates wudhu on its emission. (Maraqi Falah p.150)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt will be necessary that whenever madhi exits a person, he must wash his body part and also his clothing upon which it has reached. <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSayyidna Ali \"ra\u1e0dyAll\u0101hu narrates that i used to get pre-seminal discharge frequently. Being the son in law of the prophet \"\u1e63allall\u0101hu i requested a man to ask him. So the man asked the prophet sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam about it. He said perform ablution after washing your organ. (Sahih Bukhari p42 v1)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tMadhi is regarded as a impurity, therefore if it was to fall on one’s body or clothing, etc then it is necessary that it be washed.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
