\n\tQuestion:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t(1) Can you please explain the step by step, how can I take a bath with ruqya ayats?
\n\t(2) Can I play surah Baqarah on CD for the purpose of driving away jinn from home or it has to be a human being?<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnswer:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\"Bismillah\"<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThere are many ahadiths which establishes the permissibility of reciting Quranic verses and established duas to cure people who are suffering from various ailments. This practice in the Shariah is known as Ruqyah.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSaaiduna Awf ibn Maalik \"ra\u1e0dyAll\u0101hu narrates that the Companions used to give Ruqyah in the pre-Islamic era and asked the Prophet of Allah \"\u1e63allall\u0101hu about this. He ordered them to present their Ruqyahs to him and stated that there is no harm in giving Ruqyah as long as it does not involve Shirk (polytheism) (Sahih Muslim)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThere is no harm in reading the Ruqyah over water or oil and massage the body everyday where pain is experienced.  You can also drink supplicated water to protect yourself from the evil eye. You can also take a bath with it by mixing some of the supplicated water into a bucket of water and pour the water from the bucket over your body by using a jug.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tRegarding your second question, below is a hadith regarding the virtue of reciting Surah Baqarah in one’s home:<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is recorded by Saaiduna Abu Hurairah \"ra\u1e0dyAll\u0101hu that the Prophet of Allah \"\u1e63allall\u0101hu said, “Do not turn your houses into graves. Verily, Shaytan does not enter the house where Surah Al-Baqarah is recited.” (Sahih Muslim, Sunan Tirmizi &Sunan Nasai)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is best that one recites Surah Baqarah audibly, however, if one cannot do that then playing it on audio would be sufficient.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
