This was given to me for Eid (Sept 2011). I am Only 15 Years Old and am still Schooling and do not work and have no income. Do I need to pay Zakat? If so, how do I calculate? (Raddul Muhtar p.5 v.2)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Regarding your situation, if the two gold necklaces amount to 87.48 grams of gold, then you will be required to give zakat next year in the month of Shawal. You do not have to give zakat now. (Aapke Masaail p.368 v.3)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Next year when you do come to pay your zakat and you do not have any money then either your parents with your consent can pay the Zakat on your behalf.
