I tried but I finally develop hyperacidity and immense pain. What is that I can do? He will not be allowed to give fidayh. (Ahsanul Fatawa p.432 v.4)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">However, if a person is ill and the illness is such that there is no hope of ever getting better then such a person will give fidyah. (Ahsanul Fatawa p.432 v.4)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Therefore, regarding your question, if the illness is such where it prevents you from fasting and the illness will remain for ever, then in that situation you will give fidyah for the qadha fasts.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Finally, you can give the fidyah according to the rate of this country or to the country you are sending the fidyah to. If you are planning to give the recipients of the fidyah money, then the amount of sadqah fitr will be given for each fast. However, if you are planning to feed the poor then you will need to feed them two meals a day.
