\n\tCan I travel on Friday if I am to miss Friday prayers because of train timing?<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\r\n Answer:<\/strong><\/pre>\n
\n\t\"Bismillah\"<\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
\n\tThe following conditions must be met in order for Jummah Salah to be obligatory:<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
    \n
  1. \n\t\tTo be male<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  2. \n\t\tTo be within the boundary of a town (Muqeem)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  3. \n\t\tTo be healthy (physically able to perform Salah)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  4. \n\t\tThe road should be safe<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
  5. \n\t\tNot to be physically handicapped. (Kitabul Fiqh p.603 v.1)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    \n\tThe following conditions are necessary for the Jummah Salah to be correct:<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
      \n
    1. \n\t\tA large town<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
    2. \n\t\tTime of Zuhr prayer<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
    3. \n\t\tThe Khutbah<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n
    4. \n\t\tCongregation<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n\tThere are three people besides the Imam (four Muslims) at your workplace which will constitute the congregation.  The presence of females or minors only is not enough.   (Raddul Muhtar p.24 v.3)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
        \n
      1. \n\t\tIzn Aaam (general call for the prayer)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n\tIt is permissible to undertake a journey before the beginning the Zuhr prayer (Zawaal) on Friday. However, it is Makruh Tahreemi to undertake a journey after Zawaal on a Friday without performing the Jummah Salah as Jummah Salah is obligatory upon a Muqeem (resident of a town).<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
        \n\tSaaiduna Ibn Umar \"ra\u1e0dyAll\u0101hu has satated, “Jummah does not prevent a person from undertaking a journey as long as the time for the Jummah Salah has not arrived. (Kanzul Ummal p.40 v.1)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
