{"id":821,"date":"2011-08-21T10:47:26","date_gmt":"2011-08-21T10:47:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp\/?p=821"},"modified":"2011-08-21T10:47:26","modified_gmt":"2011-08-21T10:47:26","slug":"punishment-for-not-fasting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/home\/punishment-for-not-fasting\/","title":{"rendered":"Punishment for not fasting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Punishment for not fasting<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><strong>In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful. <\/strong><\/p>\n<h1><strong>Answer <\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>Saaiduna Ibn Abbas Radiallahu Anhu narrates that the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam said: \u201cThe bonds of Islam and the basis of religion are three on which Islam was founded.\u00a0 Whoever gives up one of them becomes a kafir and thereby it is permissible to shed his blood: the testimony that there is no God but Allah, the prescribed prayers and fasting in Ramadhan.\u00a0 (Majmaul-Zawaaid p.48 v.1)<\/p>\n<p>Saaiduna Abu Umamah Al Bahilii Radiallahu Anhu narrates that he heard the Prophet of Allah Sallallhu Alai Waslam saying: \u201cWhilst I was sleeping two men came to me and took me by the arm and brought me to the cragged mountain.\u00a0 They said \u2018Climb up\u2019, I said \u2018I cannot\u2019, they said \u2018we will make it easy for you\u2019.\u00a0 So I climbed up until I was at the top of the mountain.\u00a0 Then I heard loud voices.\u00a0 I said, \u2018What are these voices?\u2019 They said \u2018This is the howling of the people of Hell\u2019.\u00a0 Then I as taken until I saw people hanging by their hamstrings, with the sides of their mouths torn and blood pouring from their mouths.\u00a0 I said \u2018Who are these?\u2019 He said, \u2018These are the people who broke their fast before it was time\u2019 \u201d.\u00a0 (Sahih Ibn Khuzaimah &amp; Sahih Ibn Hibban)<\/p>\n<p>Only Allah Knows Best<\/p>\n<p>Mohammed Tosir Miah<\/p>\n<p>Darul Ifta Birmingham<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Punishment for not fasting In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.
