I would like to know if it is permissible for me to work for the company if I am offered the job.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n\t&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong><span dir=\"RTL\">\u0628\u0650\u0633\u0652\u0645\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0651\u064e\u062d\u0652\u0645\u0646\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u0651\u064e\u062d\u0650\u064a\u0652\u0645<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong><u>In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<u><span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\"><strong>Answer:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/u>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Two conditions need to be found for a job to be lawful:<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">The nature of the job has to be compatible with the guidelines laid down by the Shariah.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t<span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">The wages at least the majority of it has to be from lawful sources.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Regarding your question, if the nature of your job in the company is compatible with the guidelines of the Shariah, coupled with the condition that more than 50% of your wages are not from lottery sources then it will be permissible for you to work in that organisation.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">We as Muslims have to make sure our jobs and salary are 100% lawful.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah [rahimahullah] narrates that the Prophet of Allah <img title=\"\u1e63allall\u0101hu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of All\u0101h be upon him)\" alt=\"\u1e63allall\u0101hu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of All\u0101h be upon him)\" class=\"islamic_graphic\" src=\"https:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp-content\/plugins\/islamic-graphics\/img\/black\/20\/saw.png\" height=\"12px\"> said: &ldquo;Allah is pure and accepts only that which is pure. Allah has commanded the faithful to do that which he commanded the messengers.&rdquo; And Allah <img title=\"\u1e63allall\u0101hu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of All\u0101h be upon him)\" alt=\"\u1e63allall\u0101hu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of All\u0101h be upon him)\" class=\"islamic_graphic\" src=\"https:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp-content\/plugins\/islamic-graphics\/img\/black\/20\/saw.png\" height=\"12px\"> has said: &ldquo;O you who believe! Eat of the pure things and do right.&rdquo; Allah <img title=\"\u1e63allall\u0101hu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of All\u0101h be upon him)\" alt=\"\u1e63allall\u0101hu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of All\u0101h be upon him)\" class=\"islamic_graphic\" src=\"https:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp-content\/plugins\/islamic-graphics\/img\/black\/20\/saw.png\" height=\"12px\">&nbsp;has said: &ldquo;oh you who believe! Eat of the pure things we have provided you.&rdquo; Then the Prophet of Allah <img title=\"\u1e63allall\u0101hu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of All\u0101h be upon him)\" alt=\"\u1e63allall\u0101hu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of All\u0101h be upon him)\" class=\"islamic_graphic\" src=\"https:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp-content\/plugins\/islamic-graphics\/img\/black\/20\/saw.png\" height=\"12px\"> mentioned a man who journeyed far and dishevelled and dusty and spends out oh his hand to the Heavens: &ldquo;O Lord! O, Lord<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;\">! While his food is unlawful, and he is nourished unlawfully, so how can his dua be answered!&rdquo; (Sahih Muslim)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">From this <\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Hadith<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;\">, we can understand that unlawful income does have an effect on one&#39;s worship and acceptance of ones duas.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Saaiduna Abu Bakr <img title=\"ra\u1e0dyAll\u0101hu 'anhu (may All\u0101h be pleased with him)\" alt=\"ra\u1e0dyAll\u0101hu 'anhu (may All\u0101h be pleased with him)\" class=\"islamic_graphic\" src=\"https:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp-content\/plugins\/islamic-graphics\/img\/black\/20\/ranhu.png\" height=\"12px\"> narrated th<\/span><span style=\"color:#000000;\">at the Prophet of Allah <img title=\"\u1e63allall\u0101hu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of All\u0101h be upon him)\" alt=\"\u1e63allall\u0101hu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of All\u0101h be upon him)\" class=\"islamic_graphic\" src=\"https:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp-content\/plugins\/islamic-graphics\/img\/black\/20\/saw.png\" height=\"12px\"> said &ldquo;That body will not enter Paradise which has been nourished with Haram&rdquo; (Sunan Baihaqi)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:16px;\"><span style=\"color:#000000;\">Saaiduna Ka`b Bin Ujrah narrates that the Prophet of Allah <img title=\"\u1e63allall\u0101hu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of All\u0101h be upon him)\" alt=\"\u1e63allall\u0101hu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of All\u0101h be upon him)\" class=\"islamic_graphic\" src=\"https:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp-content\/plugins\/islamic-graphics\/img\/black\/20\/saw.png\" height=\"12px\"> said, &ldquo;A body nourished with Haram will not enter Jannah&rdquo;.
