\n\tQuestion:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAsalamualaikum. I wanted to know if taqbeere tashreeq is wajib on females or not? What about menstruating females as they have no fardh salaat to offer during this period? If a female in her menses could not fast on the 9th of zil hajj , will she still receive the reward for that including expiation of sins of past and present year if she had the intention to fast if she were well?<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnswer:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\"Bismillah\"<\/a>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe days of Tashreek are from subah sadik (beginning of Fajr) on the 9th of Zhil Hijjah till Salatul Asr on the 13th Zhil Hijjah.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tTakbeer Tashreek is the following words “ALLAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR LAA ILAAHA ILALLAHU WALALAHU AKBAR ALLAHU AKBAR WA LILLA HIL HAMD”.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t“This point is clear that from the morning of Arafah (i.e. 9th Zhil Hijjah) all the way till the Asr prayer of the 13th for every person who offers the Fard prayer whether he\/ she be in hajj or not, for them to read the takbeer is waajib.” (Awjasul Masaalik p.248-254 v.8, Mazaahirul Haq p.673 v.2)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFrom the above text we learn that those upon whom prayer is compulsory, whether they be male or female, then once they have completed their fard salah they will read the takbeer tashreek thrice. As for that woman who is on her menses, due to salah not being compulsory on her at that very moment she will not have to read the takbeer tashreek.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnswer 2 <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAbu Musa Al Asharee \"ra\u1e0dyAll\u0101hu narrates that the Holy Prophet \"\u1e63allall\u0101hu said: “ if a servant of Allah falls sick or goes on a journey, he continues to be rewarded for the good deeds that he used to do when he was healthy at home” (Fiqh us sunnah p.2 v.4)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSayyidna Abdullah Bin Amr \"ra\u1e0dyAll\u0101hu narrates that the Prophet \"\u1e63allall\u0101hu said: “When a person falls ill then the reward of those deeds is also recorded for him which he used to perform when he was healthy” (Al Adabul Mufrad p.358)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tHaidh (menstruation) is also a type of illness which stops a person from doing certain acts of worship.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tFrom the above we can say that if it was a habit of a woman to keep the fast on the day of Arafah, and because of her being on her menses she is unable to fast this time around then insha allah she will get the reward due to this being her habit.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
