\n\tI am currently employed in a training (unpaid), and during the training there is no leave allowed except for sickness or bereavement in family, now my sister's wedding is coming and it’s going to be in another city, I can’t leave the wedding because my whole family is going and being a girl Ican’t stay alone at home, so in this case am I allowed to take sick leave ?  Because if my leave is not approved anything can happen. I may be disqualified which will be a huge loss.  Please let me know as soon

\n\t'Abdullah reported Allah's Messenger (\ufdfa) as saying:
\n\tTruth leads one to piety and piety leads one to Paradise and the person tells the truth until he is recorded as truthful, and lie leads to obscenity and obscenity leads to Hell<\/strong>, and the person tells a lie until he is recorded as a liar.
\n\t(Sahih Muslim, Book of Goodness, Maintaining Ties and Etiquettes,Chapter: The Abhorrence of Lying, andthe Goodness and Virtue of Honesty, Hadith 2607).<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tLying is a sin. The above hadith highlights the consequence.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn your situation, you should speak to your manager, explain your circumstance truthfully and ask for leave. Tell them it is a one off situation and despite it being against their policy, politely ask them to consider your excuse. You should not lie. InshaAllah Allah will do what is best for you.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
