\n\tQuestion:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tRecently I have been getting a clear sticky discharge from my penis and it comes out in drops. Does this make my clothes impure and does it require ghusal or wudu? What should I do and how should I pray if I am not home with access to new clean clothes and to do istinja?<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAnswer:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\"Bismillah\"<\/a>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tA clear sticky discharge is called madhi<\/em>. It does not necessitate ghusl<\/em>, however it will break wudhu<\/em>.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIf clothes are soiled with madhi<\/em> which is equal or less than the hollow of your palm (which has approximately a diameter of 2.75cm) then salaah<\/em> in such clothes will be valid but makrooh tanzihi<\/em> (undesirable).<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIf it is more than the hollow of your palm, then to read salaah<\/em> with such clothes will be makrooh tahreemi<\/em> (reprehensible). [1]<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe soiled portion must be washed three times before it becomes pure.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is recommended that you keep some tissue in your underpants to absorb any emission of madhi<\/em> so they do not become soiled.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
