I did istikhara for marriage 3 times for a lady who is divorced and aged 47. Twice I saw the lady I intend to marry and we were gazing into each other&rsquo;s eyes and second time were gazing and holding hands, so can you please tell me if this means anything.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">&nbsp;Jazakallahu Khairunn<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\"><strong>Answer:<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<a href=\"http:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Bismillah.jpg\" rel=\"\" target=\"\" title=\"\"><img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Bismillah\" height=\"50\" src=\"http:\/\/daruliftabirmingham.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Bismillah.jpg\" title=\"\" width=\"267\" \/><\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Salatul Istikhara is a prayer in which Allah guides you towards that which is best for you.&nbsp; It is not necessary that one must experience or see a vision or dream after performing Istikhara.&nbsp;<br \/>\n\t(Raddul Muktar p.470 v.2)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">It is related by Jabir bin Abdullah that the Prophet of Allah <img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"sub\u1e25\u0101nahu wa ta'\u0101la (glorified and exalted be He)\" height=\"12\" src=\"file:\/\/\/C:\\Users\\user\\AppData\\Local\\Temp\\msohtmlclip1\\01\\clip_image002.png\" width=\"13\" \/>used to teach us the way of doing Istikharah, in all matters as he taught us the Surahs of the Quran..<em>.<\/em><br \/>\n\t<em>(Sahih Al-Bukhari, 2.263)<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Imam An-Nawawi has said, &quot;After performing the istikharah, a person must do what he is wholeheartedly inclined to do and feels good about doing and should not insist on doing what he had desired to do before making the istikharah. And if his feelings change, he should leave what he had intended to do, otherwise he is not completely leaving the choice to Allah, and would not be honest in seeking aid from Allah&#39;s power and knowledge. Sincerity in seeking Allah&#39;s choice means that one should completely leave what hehimself had desired or determined.&quot;<br \/>\n\t(Fiqhus Sunnah: 2.32)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">After performing istikarah the person will (Insha Allah) get guidance from Allah and be inclined towards what is right. It is not necessary that it is seen in a dream or even as a vision while awake. The individual will just feel what is right and should then go on to do the task or make the decision.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"color:#000000;\"><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Regarding your situation, since you saw such vivid dreams on multiple occasions indicating happiness and contentment with each other, you should proceed with this proposal.
