\n\tI am 45 and divorced. I did istikhara for marriage 3 times for a lady who is divorced and aged 47. Twice I saw the lady I intend to marry and we were gazing into each other’s eyes and second time were gazing and holding hands, so can you please tell me if this means anything.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tSalatul Istikhara is a prayer in which Allah guides you towards that which is best for you.  It is not necessary that one must experience or see a vision or dream after performing Istikhara. 
\n\t(Raddul Muktar p.470 v.2)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is related by Jabir bin Abdullah that the Prophet of Allah \"sub\u1e25\u0101nahuused to teach us the way of doing Istikharah, in all matters as he taught us the Surahs of the Quran...<\/em>
\n\t(Sahih Al-Bukhari, 2.263)<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tImam An-Nawawi has said, "After performing the istikharah, a person must do what he is wholeheartedly inclined to do and feels good about doing and should not insist on doing what he had desired to do before making the istikharah. And if his feelings change, he should leave what he had intended to do, otherwise he is not completely leaving the choice to Allah, and would not be honest in seeking aid from Allah's power and knowledge. Sincerity in seeking Allah's choice means that one should completely leave what hehimself had desired or determined."
\n\t(Fiqhus Sunnah: 2.32)<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter performing istikarah the person will (Insha Allah) get guidance from Allah and be inclined towards what is right. It is not necessary that it is seen in a dream or even as a vision while awake. The individual will just feel what is right and should then go on to do the task or make the decision.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tRegarding your situation, since you saw such vivid dreams on multiple occasions indicating happiness and contentment with each other, you should proceed with this proposal. InshaAllah, Allah will put blessings in the marriage.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
