Question:

Hazrat, in the Hanafi madhab this is necessary to perform, but due to time constraints at work, I only perform my fardh (sometimes in congregation).
Due to this reason would I be sinful, and/or become a murtad?

Answer:

Bismillah

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

When one is hired for some work, it is compulsory upon him that he carries out designated tasks during that period of time and does not occupy himself in other activities besides his fardh prayers. In fatawa Samarqand it has been mentioned that he should perform his Sunnah prayers also. However, he should not read any nafl prayers. [1]

A person who leaves out Sunnah muakkadah prayers without a valid excuse will be sinful, furthermore, to disregard or neglect the Sunnah is also a sin. Hence, it is important that the Sunnah prayers are performed during work also.
