Sitting on chairs

In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.

Answer

It is permissible to sit on chairs to listen to talks or to relax. However, this was not the practice of the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam and the Companions. (Jadeed Fiqhi Masaail p.330 v.1)
