Is it halal to use animal derived cosmetics if it’s synthesised in Ahlalktab countries?
I’m really confused about the animal products in cosmetics

Answer:

To use cosmetics will be permissible providing they do not contain impure ingredients. With regards to animal derived cosmetics, if they contain pig elements or any other substance which is considered filthy, they will not be permissible to use.

If they contain extracts of animals other than pig such as carmine (red insect) etc. (commonly used in reddish products) they can be used on the rest of the body, but not on the lips due to high risk of it entering the mouth.
