Question: 

I have a question in regard to distributing gold inheritance of my mother who passed away 4 years ago. From the siblings, we are 2 brothers and 1 sister. Initially we distributed it equally as we were unaware of the rulings but wanted to ask how it should be split, I have also heard the our grandmother who is alive, also gets a share. Please share some guidance on this.

Answer: 

According to the information provided to us the estate or wealth/gold of your deceased mother should be distributed in the following way.

• Son 1  –  1/3  – (33.33%) 
• Son 2   – 1/3 –  (33.33%)
• Daughter  – 1/6  – (16.67%)
• Mother  –  1/6   – (16.67%)
