Question:
I recently found out that one of the waajibaat of salah is to be at ease in every position. Does this mean that you have to do qadha of every salah where you weren’t at ease in a position? Even if this is quite a few years of salah?
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
Being at ease in salah means that one keeps the body still and not moving or being restless and each act is carried out with calmness taking one’s time and not rushing. The wajibaat of salah concerning being at ease in salah is that one is tranquil in his qiyam ruku sujood and sitting, and if he is not in that state then he should do qada of the salah.
In your situation you have many salah where you were not calm and composed and if it was unintentional and out of ignorance then you would not need to repeat the salah. It would suffice you to repent seeking forgiveness of Allah and moving forward pray your salah with tranquillity and composure. As salah is the second pillar of Islam and the key to paradise.
