Question:

 

For sometime some changes in my cycle has taken place making me unsure of many things. I used to have 5 days menses. But now some times its normal and easy to calculate my days but some brown spotting occur for one or two days then bleeding starts. But sometimes like right now I say some very light brown discharge that remained visible for two days. On the third day I saw white discharge whole day but at night saw brown discharge once. Then today I can see white discharge nothing else.

 

 

I am not fasting or praying right now thinking my period has started. Once the same thing happened to me in January and my bleeding started on 5th day and it continues for I think for 5 or 6 days. Please tell me from which day should I count my period.

Answer:

 

Menstrual cycle will begin from the first sight of blood. Six colours contribute to the presence of blood, they are black, red, yellow, dusky (muddy brown) green, and earthy. Therefore the beginning of your cycle will be considered from the first sight of the brown spotting.

(وَمِنْهَا) خُرُوجُ الدَّمِ إلَى الْفَرْجِ الْخَارِجِ وَلَوْ بِسُقُوطِ الْكُرْسُفِ فَمَا دَامَ بَعْضُ الْكُرْسُفِ حَائِلًا بَيْنَ الدَّمِ وَالْفَرْجِ الْخَارِجِ لَا يَكُونُ حَيْضًا. هَكَذَا فِي الْمُحِيطِ.

طَاهِرَةٌ رَأَتْ عَلَى الْكُرْسُفِ أَثَرَ الدَّمِ يُحْكَمُ بِحَيْضِهَا مِنْ حِينِ الرَّفْعِ.

وَالْحَائِضُ إذَا لَمْ تَجِدْ عَلَيْهِ أَثَرَ الدَّمِ حُكِمَ بِالِانْقِطَاعِ مِنْ حِينِ الْوَضْعِ. هَكَذَا فِي شَرْحِ الْوِقَايَةِ وَلَا يُشْتَرَطُ فِيهِ السَّيَلَانُ. هَكَذَا فِي الْخُلَاصَةِ.

(وَمِنْهَا) أَنْ يَكُونَ عَلَى لَوْنٍ مِنْ الْأَلْوَانِ السِّتَّةِ: السَّوَادُ وَالْحُمْرَةُ وَالصُّفْرَةُ وَالْكُدْرَةُ وَالْخُضْرَةُ وَالتُّرْبِيَةُ هَكَذَا فِي النِّهَايَةِ وَإِنَّمَا يُعْتَبَرُ اللَّوْنُ عَلَى الْكُرْسُفِ حِينَ يُرْفَعُ وَهُوَ طَرِيٌّ لَا حِينَ يَجِفُّ. هَكَذَا فِي الْمُحِيطِ.

فَلَوْ رَأَتْ بَيَاضًا خَالِصًا عَلَى الْخِرْقَةِ مَا دَامَ رَطْبًا فَإِذَا يَبِسَ اصْفَرَّ فَحُكْمُهُ حُكْمُ الْبَيَاضِ.

وَكَذَا لَوْ رَأَتْ حُمْرَةً أَوْ صُفْرَةً فَإِذَا يَبِسَتْ ابْيَضَّتْ تُعْتَبَرُ حَالَةُ الرُّؤْيَةِ لَا حَالَةُ التَّغَيُّرِ. هَكَذَا فِي التَّجْنِيسِ
