I take the full month off work in this blessed month to ensure, I am giving myself the best chance to secure my Akirah. Initially, I will be following the timetable where the sehri time is approximately between 1-1:30am depending on where you are. The reason for this is because right after Taraweeh finishes which, will be between mid-night-12:15am, I can have a small snack in readiness for sehri, perform Tahajud, perform Fajar with Jamat (mosque), and then go straight to bed. I’d rather not go to sleep, and then wake back up to do sehri, Tahajud, and Fajar – too lazy! However, in the last 10 days, that are the greatest, this means there is less time for ibadah especially on the night of Laylatul Qadr. So, to make more time for myself, I then would like to change to another Hanafi timetable where sehri would be a between 2-3am. I would not go to sleep after Taraweeh, and get stuck in ibadah. I understand quality is better…
