  1. The Dua mentioned below is a comprehensive that can be used for success in all avenues of life which includes starting a business as well as success in the hereafter:

  1. It is narrated by Anas (may Allah have mercy on him): The Prophet () used to say,

"O, Allah! Our Lord! Give us in this world that, which is good and in the Hereafter that, which is good and save us from the torment of the Fire."[2]

It is narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah have mercy on her) that when the Prophet () performed the Subh (Morning Prayer) when he said the Salam, he would say:

“O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, goodly provision and acceptable deeds.’”[3]

The above two Duas can be recited for blessings.

  1. The Dua mentioned in Answer no.1 can be recited before starting work in the morning.
  2. It is narrated by Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Prophet () used to seek Refuge with Allah for Al-Hasan and Al-Husain and say: "Your forefather (i.e. Abraham) used to seek Refuge with Allah for Ismail and Ishaaq by reciting the following:

'O, Allah! I seek Refuge with Your Perfect Words from every devil and from poisonous pests and from every evil, harmful, envious eye.' "[4]

‘O, Allah! I seek you protection from the difficult moment of a calamity and from being overtaken by destruction and from being destined to an evil end, and from the malicious joy of enemies.’[5]

The above Duas can be used for protection against the evil eye and any enemy.

Other than the above Duas one may supplicate to Allah in their own language as it is not necessary to make Dua in Arabic.
