Question:

I wanted to confirm if I am sinful for not performing my Fajar salah at the mosque. I start work from 10am until 8pm, so when I get up for salah, I'm really tired, and during the week-days when I got work, I don't go to the mosque because I am too lazy, sleep, and tired. I also don't want my lack of sleep not to affect my work commitments/progress. My questions:
Am, I sinful? Do, I still get the reward for the salah without it being makruh even though I did not go to the mosque?

Answer:

Bismillah

Performing Salah with congregation is Wajib and tiredness and fatigue are not genuine valid excuses to absolve oneself. Below are 2 hadith, 1 is a warning for those who don’t perform salah in congregation in the Masjid and the other is a virtue of performing Fajr in the Masjid with congregation.

Narrated: Abu Huraira
The Prophet ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said, "No doubt, I intended to order somebody to pronounce the Iqama of the (compulsory congregational) prayer and then I would go to the houses of those who do not attend the prayer and burn their houses over them."( Sahih Bukhari  no: 609)

`Uthman bin `Affan reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah saying: “One who performs Isha’ prayer in congregation, is as if he has performed Salat for half of the night. And one who performs the Fajr prayer in congregation, is as if he has performed Salat the whole night.” (Tirmidhi no:221)
