Question:
Salam, I just wanted to ask that I am working in amazon as an operator and I pick and pack products and I was really curious about pick and packing of haram products which sometimes I have to do, like pork and wine from shelf to bags, is it permissible or haram? Kindly do clarify as soon as possible because if it is haram then I want to resign as soon as possible.
Another question is related to the first question that is if it is haram to pick and pack haram products then what do I have to do with the money I earn as I pick and pack a lot of products and I don’t know how many haram products I pick and pack from the shelf.

Answer:
If you are in a situation where you can avoid touching the Haram products or switch jobs that would be ideal. However, if this is the only job option available or if switching jobs is difficult it will be permissible to work there.1

1 (وحَمْلُ خَمْرِ ال ِّ ذ ِّ م ِّ ي بأِجْرٍ) یعَْنيِ جازَ ذَلكَِ وھذَا عِنْدَ الإمامِ وقالا یكُْرَهُ لِأنَّ ھُ – »لعََنَ فيِ الخَمْرِعَشَرَةً وعَ َّ د مِنھا حامِلھَا« ولھَُ أ َّ ن الإجارَةَ عَلى الحَمْلِ وھوَُ لیَْسَ بمَِعْصِیةٍَ وإنَّ ما المَعْصِیةَُ بفِعِْلِفاعِلٍ مُخْتارٍ فصَارَ كَمَن اسْتأَجَْرَهُ لعَِصْرِ خَمْرِ العِنبَِ وقطَْفھِِ، والحَدِیثُ یحُْمَلُ عَلى الحَمْلِالمَقْرُونِ بقِصَْدِ المَعْصِیةَِ وعَلى ھذَا الخِلافِ إذا أ َّ جرَ دابَّ ةً لیِحَْمِلَ عَلیَْھا الخَمْرَ أوْ نفَْسَھُ لیِرَْعى لھَُالخَنازِیرَ فإَنَّ ھُ یطَِیبُ لھَُ الأجْرُ عِنْدَهُ وعِنْدَھمُا یكُْرَهُ
