Question:

 

My clothes were put in the machine and when I checked my underwear it had discharge still there even after the wash. The clothes where spread across the heaters and also touched the wall. How do I purify the heater and wall.

 

The impurity has dried on the heater, is it okay if I take dry tissue and wiped it across the heater and wall. Would this remove impurity if not how do I clean it . Cause it will be hard to get the top of the radiator like the part with the ridges and stuff.

Answer:

 

It is important to remove the apparent impurity before putting it in the washing machine. If after washing the clothes, the najasah is still there, then it should be washed again.

 

However with regards to the heater and the wall, if there is no apparent najasah on it, it doesn’t have to be wash.

 

One should not entertain any waswasah that the wall and the heaters have to be washed again. If you feel there was some effect of the impurity that came onto it, you can just take a wet cloth and wipe it.

(مِنْهَا) الْغُسْلُ يَجُوزُ تَطْهِيرُ النَّجَاسَةِ بِالْمَاءِ وَبِكُلِّ مَائِعٍ طَاهِرٍ يُمْكِنُ إزَالَتُهَا بِهِ كَالْخَلِّ وَمَاءِ الْوَرْدِ وَنَحْوِهِ مِمَّا إذَا عُصِرَ انْعَصَرَ. كَذَا فِي الْهِدَايَةِ.

 

وَمَا لَا يَنْعَصِرُ كَالدُّهْنِ لَمْ يَجُزْ إزَالَتُهَا بِهِ. كَذَا فِي الْكَافِي وَكَذَا الدِّبْسُ وَاللَّبَنُ وَالْعَصِيرُ كَذَا فِي التَّبْيِينِ وَمِنْ الْمَائِعَاتِ الْمَاءُ الْمُسْتَعْمَلُ وَهَذَا قَوْلُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَرِوَايَةٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَنِيفَةَ وَعَلَيْهِ الْفَتْوَى. هَكَذَا فِي الزَّاهِدِيِّ وَإِزَالَتُهَا إنْ كَانَتْ مَرْئِيَّةً بِإِزَالَةِ عَيْنِهَا وَأَثَرِهَا إنْ كَانَتْ شَيْئًا يَزُولُ أَثَرُهُ وَلَا يُعْتَبَرُ فِيهِ الْعَدَدُ.

 

وَإِنْ كَانَتْ غَيْرَ مَرْئِيَّةٍ يَغْسِلُهَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ. كَذَا فِي الْمُحِيطِ وَيُشْتَرَطُ الْعَصْرُ فِي كُلِّ مَرَّةٍ فِيمَا يَنْعَصِرُ وَيُبَالِغُ فِي الْمَرَّةِ الثَّالِثَةِ حَتَّى لَوْ عَصَرَ بَعْدَهُ لَا يَسِيلُ مِنْهُ الْمَاءُ وَيُعْتَبَرُ فِي كُلِّ شَخْصٍ قُوَّتُهُ وَفِي غَيْرِ رِوَايَةِ الْأُصُولِ يَكْتَفِي بِالْعَصْرِ مَرَّةً وَهُوَ أَرْفَقُ. كَذَا فِي الْكَافِي وَفِي النَّوَازِلِ وَعَلَيْهِ الْفَتْوَى. كَذَا فِي التَّتَارْخَانِيَّة وَالْأَوَّلُ أَحْوَطُ. هَكَذَا فِي الْمُحِيطِ
