Question:

Assalamo Alaikum
I’m a 22 years old boy and I have a problem that sometimes when I am near girls I got excited and mazi is released without any bad thinking. My question is few months ago I read about Hurmat Musahara and from that day I am in dilemma that if I am in touch with my mother and I released mazi (not Mani/semen) or get some erection ( ofcourse without any bad intention) but due to unwanted reason will Hurmat Musahara establish??
Please explain in detail I’m too much thinking about this?

Answer:

Wa alaykum assalaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

Hurmah Musaharah does not establish when one is near but not touching a member of the opposite gender, nor when one accidentally touches their own parents. Hurmah Musaharah occurs when one intentionally touches a member of the opposite gender seeking pleasure. In which case one would not be permitted to marry a direct family member of that individual [1].

One lacking self-control should take measures to avoid being near members of the opposite gender except where necessary and avoid any form of free mixing [2].

And only Allah s.w.t knows best.

حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَارَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ دَخَلْتُ مَعَ عَلْقَمَةَ وَالأَسْوَدِ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم شَبَابًا لاَ نَجِدُ شَيْئًا فَقَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ “‏ يَا مَعْشَرَ الشَّبَابِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ الْبَاءَةَ فَلْيَتَزَوَّجْ، فَإِنَّهُ أَغَضُّ لِلْبَصَرِ، وَأَحْصَنُ لِلْفَرْجِ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَعَلَيْهِ بِالصَّوْمِ، فَإِنَّهُ لَهُ وِجَاءٌ ‏”‏‏‏
