Question:

Is it permissible for men to pluck the unibrow (hair between the 2 eyebrows) according to the Hanafi madhab? My one is pretty messy.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

In the event where the unibrow becomes thick and unpleasant it will be permissible for a man to pluck them. (Raddul Muhtar, pg 407, vol 6)[1]

[1] وفي تبيين المحارم إزالة الشعر من الوجه حرام إلا إذا نبت للمرأة لحية أو شوارب فلا تحرم إزالته بل تستحب اهـ، وفي التتارخانية عن المضمرات: ولا بأس بأخذ الحاجبين وشعر وجهه ما لم يشبه المخنث اهـ ومثله في المجتبى تأمل.
