Question:

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

Is there anything like doing an opening for a masjid in Islam? Is it sunnah or adaab etc?

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

There is no specific action that has been prescribed in the Sharīʿah to be fulfilled when opening a masjid. We ask Allāh SWT accept your efforts and the new masjid.

And Allah SWT alone knows best.
