Question:

Does anybody have knowledge about the journey of the train from Medina to Mecca? Somebody claims that the muhaazaat  it passes  through is very close to  the miqat  hence u need to tie ihraam before the meeqat and  the problem is the authorities only announce before  you pass the muhazaat, they pay no attention to the meeqaat. Hence, it is necessary that a person makes his intention before passing the meeqaat and not wait for the announcement of the muhaazaat.

Answer:

A definitive answer regarding this would be best sought from those who live in the area, regularly use the train line you are referring to or work with the train company in question. Regardless of whether or not this is the case, as a precaution one should enter Ihram before boarding the train or prior to the announcement being made [1].
