Question:
I want to know that do I purchase a bike on interest based EMI, the bike price is 107000/- INR, & I have to pay 30000/- as down payment & 7000/- instalment per month for 12 months, which total is approx. 115000/- the extra interest amount will be paid is approx. 8000, I know interest based EMI is unlawful, so I wanted to know that if I pay the total interest amount to poor with my pocket (with no reward intention) it will be valid for me?

Answer:
When you pay off your bike through EMI (Equal Monthly Instalments), you are paying for the principle cost of the bike plus the interest charges which are Haram. Thus your understanding is correct that Interest based EMI is indeed unlawful.
Furthermore, if you pay approximately 8000 INR as interest money to the lender, such a transaction will NOT become permissible even if you donate another 8000 INR to the poor and needy without the intention of reward. Either way, this purchase will be unlawful and there is no method of making such a transaction permissible.
Please stay away from such an evil transaction as Allah Ta’ala says in the Holy Quran;
{ فَإِن لَّمۡ تَفۡعَلُوا۟ فَأۡذَنُوا۟ بِحَرۡبࣲ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦۖ }
[Surah Al-Baqarah: 279]
And if you do not (give up Riba), then be informed of a war [against you] from Allāh and His Messenger.
