Question:  

My wife wanting to job in Tesco, Iceland, Sainsbury or something like company as a Retail Assistant is it Halaal or Haram?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

Retail assistants primarily focus on assisting customers with their purchases, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organised store environment. This job is permissible as it does not involve promoting haram products and services to others.

وَتَعَاوَنُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلْبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقْوَىٰ ۖ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ

Cooperate with one another in goodness and righteousness, and do not cooperate in sin and transgression.  [Suarh 5:Verse 2]

Only Allah (عز و جل) knows best.
