The total assets of the deceased will be distributed in the following way:

The deceased’s property will be distributed into 96 shares. The wife will receive twelve shares; the 4 sons will each receive 14 shares and the 4 daughters will each receive seven shares.

To work out how much each heir will receive in money is firstly, the total value of the deceased’s property will be distributed by 96 shares. For example, if the total property amounts upto £10, 000 that will be divided by 96 shares. Secondly, whatever number you come up with that will be the value of each share. You then finally, multiply it with the respective shares each heir is entitled to as mentioned above which will give you the amount in terms of money which each heir is entitled to.
