Question

I have heard that it is not permissible to recite Quran while prostrating during salah, I want to ask that if I chose a dua from Quran (a single verse) can I recite it in my sajda after saying sami ALLAH?

In the name of Allah, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful,

Answer:

It is undesirable to read duas from the Quran in sajdah and ruku’. However, if someone does so, it will not render the salaah invalid. (Raddul Muhtar Vol.1 Pg.523)
