Question:

Assalamu alaikum
What are the rulings regarding  tasbeeh prayer? Is it recommended or not? Is it bidah(invention)? Are the hadees which are in support of the same authentic and sound?  What were the thoughts/rulings of the four imam's in this regard?

Sheikh Mubarakpuri in his commentary of Sunan Tirmizi has refuted this claim of Ibnul Jawzi as other reputable scholars have confirmed the validity of it as mentioned in the link above.[1]
