Question

What is the time period of becoming pure after periods? Is it necessary to take ghusl on the 8th day or can one take ghusl on the 5th or 6th day and then offer Salah?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

The minimum time of purification between the two periods is 15 days. There is no maximum for it.[1]

Haidh days are different and it depends on the individual. It is not necessary to take Ghusl on the 8^th day. If one sees white on the 5^th or 6^th day, she can make ghusl on that day.[2]
