Question:

Can a person attached with catheter bag ( urine bag ) has to offer salah
and also can he go to Masjid for Salah or is it better to pray at home,
including Jummah salah.

Answer

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In normal circumstances, it is severely disliked to bring impurities and foul smelling substances into a Masjid, especially when there is a strong possibility of the impure substance polluting the Masjid.

(Raddul Muhtaar p; 656, v; 1)

However, a person undergoing urinary catheterisation may enter the Masjid with the urine bag.  As long as the urine bag is hidden and secured, this will not be in the ruling of external impurity being taken into a Masjid.  The urine bag in such a scenario will be considered to be an internal organ.

Regarding your question one still prays and offers his salah in such condition also one may enter the Masjid with a catheter bag as long as it’s secured (no leakage) and there is no smell omitting from the bag itself otherwise due to respect of the Masjid and those who are praying in the Masjid it would be best for one to pray at home. This ruling also applies for Jummah salah aswell.

Only Allah knows best.
