Question:
If someone performs witr-salah alone, can he also recite it aloud?
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
Thank you for your question. May Allah ﷻ grant us correctness in our Salah and acceptance in all our worship.
In the case of Witr Salah, the ruling follows the nature of night prayers.
If a person is praying Witr alone, then he has a choice:
He may recite aloud or quietly. Both are permissible.
However, it is better to consider the situation:
If reciting aloud will not disturb others, then reciting aloud is preferable, as this is closer to the practice of night prayers.
If there is a risk of disturbing others, then he should recite quietly.
So there is flexibility in this matter.

وَفِي الْفَرْضِ الْجَهْرِيِّ إنْ كَانَ فِي وَقْتِهِ) أَيْ إذَا أَرَادَ الْمُنْفَرِدُ أَدَاءَ الْجَهْرِيِّ خُيِّرَ إنْ شَاءَ جَهَرَ لِكَوْنِهِ إمَامَ نَفْسِهِ، وَإِنْ شَاءَ خَافَتَ؛ إذْ لَيْسَ خَلْفَهُ مَنْ يُسْمِعُهُ
