Question:
Salam
Woman died leaving husband and sons and daughters.
Father will get 25% and rest for children للذكر مثل حظ الانثيين ؟ is that right?
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
That is correct provided she had no other living relatives such as parents or grandparents when she passed away [1]. Thus, her Husband will receive 25% of her inheritance [2], and the remaining 75% will be divided between her children such that the sons will each receive twice the share that each of the daughters will receive [3].
