Dear maulana, I would like to ask the following question

There is a hadith regarding a conversation between Hadhrat Abu Said AlKhudhry radhiyallahuanhu and ibn sayyaad at the end ibn sayyaad says

"if this offer is made to me, i will not resent that."

What is the meaning of the above statement

It means if I was to be given the opportunity to be the Dajjal I would accept it as mentioned by Mufti Taqi Usmani (DB) in Takmila fathul Mulhim[1]
