Question:
What’s the daleel for khatm e Quran being sunnah in Taraweeh?

Answer
It is stated in al Ikhtiyar “it is Sunnah to complete the Quran once during Taraweeh”.1
It is stated in Nurul Idhaah “According to the correct view, it is sunnah to complete an entire khatam (complete recitation) of the Quran in the Taraweeh salaah during the month of Ramadan.2
It is stated in Al-Hidaya “According to the majority of the scholars it is sunnah to complete the Quran once”.3
It is stated in Fatawa Hindiyyah “ It is Sunnah that it be completed in Taraweeh once”.4
