Question:

Is there a Hadith on if you feed a person you get the reward for their ibadat?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

The closest hadith that I could find in this meaning is:

مَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لاَ يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الصَّائِمِ شَيْئًا

Whoever provides the food for a fasting person to break his fast with, then for him is the same reward as his (the fasting person’s), without anything being diminished from the reward of the fasting person¹.

If one looks from the perspective of the food being a means of energy and strength coming into the person which in turn becomes a means of them performing good deeds, then that is an indirect way of earning the reward. That is because you are essentially enabling and empowering them to do good deeds.
