Question:
What is the ruling regarding smoking flavoured vapes during Ihram?
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
It is prohibited for a person in the state of ihram to apply perfume1, however one can apply perfume prior to the state of ihram. The fuqaha have also mentioned that one should not smell perfume once in the state of ihram.2
The perfume emanating from vapes, despite being flavoured would not be considered a pleasant smell, as such it would not fall under this ruling as such would not affect the validity of the ihram.
However, it should be noted that Hajj is a journey the house of Allah to fulfil the obligations set down by Allah, therefore one should refrain from these things in a state of ihram.
