Question:

 

If I’m 2023 I would have a problem where when I washed after urinating the shatafa would spray too hard and it would fly everywhere

 

It was also during my haidh and blood would fall everywhere even when I tried to wash after using the bathroom

 

I would then touch the fridge and freezer with those same hands I’m not sure if the water on my hands from that as there was no trace of impurity / blood in the water present on my hand

 

Is everything impure?

 

The helper deep cleaned the fridge and after that but the things I touched like the frozen food etc were still there

 

Those foods are now removed

But I’m doubting whether if someone touched these foods and then touched the other parts of the freezer would everything be impure

Answer:

 

Firstly sister, you need to reduce the water pressure on your bidet/ water sprayer/ shatafa so that the water does not spray everywhere. Otherwise you should make use of a Lota/ toilet jug to wash away your impurities so that you can avoid a situation where Najasah (impurities such as water and blood) spray everywhere and get on your clothes/ body floor.

 

The water that is used to  wash off impurities is also impure. However, once those impurities are washed off, the water that touches your body, clean private parts and hands is known as used water (maa’ musta’mal). This water is pure. Assuming you washed all the Najasah off your body and private parts, and assuming your washed your hands afterwards, the water on your hands will be considered pure. Even if you didn’t wash your hands, but if you cleaned yourself properly with your bidet, the water from the bidet would have cleaned your hands at the end after the impurities have disappeared from your private parts.

 

Thus, the water on your hands is pure. This also means that the fridge is pure, and  similarly, the items in the fridge will also be pure. Even if impure water touched the fridge, you simply need to wipe the surface of the part of the fridge which the water touched in order to remove the impurity. The food and everything in the fridge does not automatically become impure if you touched one part of the fridge with wet hands. Only the area that was afflicted by the water becomes impure and you can simply wipe that surface with a dry cloth or tissue.

 

However, your concern should be; if the water that is used to remove the impurity is splashing everywhere, your clothes, body and toilet shall become impure. Your salat will not be valid in such clothing/ impure body. Again, this is why you should reduce the water pressure on your bidet or use a Lota/ water jug.

قيل له: إن الصلاة جائزة في الثوب مع وجود أثر النجاسة فيه، ولا يجوز استعمال الماء مع ظهور أثر النجاسة فيه، فعلمنا أن حكم النجاسة في الماء أغلظ منها في الثوب.
