Question
At work, they're issuing injections for all pregnant and miscarriage women. And for post-op patients. These injections prevent blood from clotting. Blood clots in the legs and lungs can be life-threatening.
I have recently discovered these injections contain pork.
As a nurse, I have to advise patients to have them. As a Muslim, I need to tell them what it contains. There is no other alternative medication according to the pharmacist.
Despite containing pork can Muslims have it?

Answer:
If the situation is life-threatening and a reliable expert informs you that there is no alternative to using this type of (ḥarām) medicine, then it will be permissible for you to use and administer.[1]
Only Allah SWT alone knows best.
