Question:

If a person made the intention that he will fast the 6 days of Shawwal if a wish of his is fulfilled, and that wish is accomplished, If he doesn’t fast in Shawwal can he keep it in some other month? Is there any kaffarah if he doesn’t keep the fasts in Shawwal?

Answer:

You will need to make up for the fasts that you missed by keeping them in another month (Badai Al Sanai, Vol 2, Pg 659).

و أما الصوم المنذور في وقت بعينه : فهو كصوم رمضان في وجوب القضاء إذا فات عن وقته و قدر علي القضاء
