Question:

If a woman becomes pure at work or school and is not able to get home in time to make ghusl (ritual bath), should she make tayammum (dry ablution)?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

All efforts should be made to talk to the principal of the school and or the employer regarding farḍ prayers. In the described scenario, you can take permission to leave early so you can perform the ghusl and pray on time. Performing the prayer with tayammum in the mentioned situation would require the prayer to be repeated once ghusl is performed. (See: Al-Fatāwā Al-Hindīyyah, Vol 1, Page 28, Dār Al-Fikr)1
