Question

1.It is halal or haram for a woman to work with a man outside the home. If she earns money from this profession, this money is halal to her husband?

2. If it is allowed for a woman to stay in front of her younger brother or nephew without wrap her chest through headcover, gauze, or other extra cloth?

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

Answer

Regarding the first part, if there is no one supporting the Muslim woman, it will be permissible for her to work as long as she maintains and adheres to the teachings of Islam. For example, she does not have to shake hands with the opposite gender or wear clothes, which reveal her body and nakedness. However for her husband there is no share in her earnings unless she is willing to make her wealth accessible to him, Islam stipulates that it is the male’s job to go out and earn for the family, to bear the financial expenses likewise if the woman has any earnings of her own then they are solely for her, she does not even have to use that wealth of hers on her own children.

Moving on to the second part, now it is permissible for a woman to stay in front of her younger brother or nephew without having a wrap on her chest through either a headcover, gauze, or any other extra cloth as long as the brother or nephew in question are immature and do not have a real understanding like that of mature minded men.
