Question:

Is it permissible to prevent Jamats from the masjid?

We have a group of brothers and unfortunately ulama as well speaking ill of Nizamudeen Markaz and of Hazratji Mlna Sa’d Saheb and they’ve come to a conclusion Allah hu A’lam is that any jamaats associated with Nizamuddeen or any jamaats that do not carry a letter from ‘world shura’ are not allowed to stay in the masjid.

Kindly In the light of Shariah Explain whether such actions are in direct conflict with the Quran and sunnah or not.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

“Who is crueller than the one who prevents the mosques of Allah from His name being recited therein, and strives for their destruction? It was not for such men to enter them except in awe. For them, there is disgrace in this world, and for them, there is a mighty punishment in the other world.”

Surah Baqarah, verse 114

Nizamuddin Markaz (BanglaWali Masjid) is the first and the oldest centre where the effort of Dawah and Tabligh (Tabligh Jamat) had been revived under the guidance of Moulana Ilyas Kandhlawi (May Allah have mercy on him), the great grandfather of Moulana Sa’ad (May Allah preserve him).

All efforts of deen should be celebrated and no one should be prevented from going to the house of Allah. (1)
