Question:
Would it be permissible for a Hafiz to lead Taraweeh although he is not fasting tomorrow?
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
Tarawih is an optional prayer that does not need to be led by one who is fasting [1]. If a Hafiz is not fasting due to a permissible reason, then there is no problem with them leading the Tarawih prayer, even if those following him are fasting.
Only Allah ﷻ knows best.
